Social Responsibility

Dr. Arnold Hornfeld, born in Izmir, is the manager of social responsibility projects and chairman of the advisory board of the Inopra Group. He graduated in 1954 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Istanbul Technical University. In the same year he started working for Türkeli A.S., the representative of Siemens AG. Since the founding of Simko A.S. by Siemens and Koc Holding, Dr. Hornfeld until 2001 as CEO and member of the Management Board of Simko A.S. and then the Siemens A.S. active. From 2001 he was a member of the Board of Doğan Holding and a member of the Advisory Board of Doğuş Holding. He chaired the Energy Commission of the TÜSIAD for seven years. Dr. Hornfeld was the founder of several associations and foundations and was chairman of the board and member of the board of the Istanbul University of Technology Foundation of Education, the Siemens Foundation, Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV), International Investors Association (YASED), Electromechanical Industrialist Association (EMSAD ), Turkish Electronics Industrialist Association (TESID), German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK).
